Alison Kimble started work on her debut novel in 2012 when she had an idea for a story and no paper. Years later, she found some.

She writes fantasy and speculative fiction because she thinks human stories are even better with magic. Her favorite book growing up was an encyclopedia of mythical creatures. She aims to add a few entries.

When she's not dreaming up new worlds, she is dancing in her living room, going to the movies with her husband, or trying to say hi to that dog she just passed.
